D3m™ did not originate as a motivational slogan or an abstract theory. It emerged from Rob’s effort to understand the relationship between belief, choice, consequence, responsibility, and personal formation.

Across different seasons of his life, he experienced the consequences of his own decisions, the decisions of others, and circumstances no person would willingly choose. Some decisions produced opportunity. Others resulted in loss, damage, or regret. Some circumstances required endurance, while others required repentance, forgiveness, adaptation, or the courage to begin again.

Through those experiences, Rob recognized a recurring pattern:

What people repeatedly believe affects what they desire. What they desire influences what they decide. Decisions become actions. Actions produce results. Results reinforce habits. Habits form character. Character establishes direction, and direction shapes destiny and legacy.

This progression became the foundation of the D3m™ Decision Chain:

Thought → Belief → Desire → Decision → Action → Result →
Habit → Character → Direction → Destiny → Legacy → Eternity

D3m™ exists to help people examine that progression honestly and make more deliberate decisions within the realities they face.

Before beginning his military and professional career, Rob attended Texas Bible Institute in Columbus, Texas. He later participated in a mission trip to remote mountain villages in Mexico, where he experienced what remains one of the defining moments of his Christian faith.

During that mission, Rob was asked to pray for an eight-year-old boy who was deaf and unable to speak. Rob recounts that, after prayer, the child began responding to sound and speaking. He does not present the event as something he personally accomplished. His responsibility, as he understands it, was to respond in faith, pray, and entrust the outcome to God.

That experience strengthened a conviction that continues to shape D3m™ : human beings are responsible for their obedience and decisions, but God remains sovereign over outcomes.

Rob later chose to serve in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. His service included support for operations connected to Operation Enduring Freedom.

Military life reinforced the importance of preparation, discipline, technical precision, duty, and decisions made under responsibility. It also taught him that choices rarely operate in isolation. In consequential environments, one person’s preparation, judgment, or failure to act can affect an entire team.

After military service, Rob continued developing his capabilities in interactive design, technology, and digital communication. He graduated from The Art Institute of Houston with a degree in Interactive Multimedia & Design.

Before his graduating portfolio exhibition, Rob made a deliberate decision to pursue the Portfolio Show Best of Show award. That objective governed countless smaller choices concerning preparation, design, development, coding, revision, presentation, and the use of his time. He became the sole recipient of the award from his graduating class.

The accomplishment became an early demonstration of a principle he would later articulate through D3m™: significant results are often produced by a series of aligned decisions rather than by one isolated moment of ambition.

Approximately a year and a half after graduation, Rob and a close friend and fellow Best of Show recipient decided to create a company together. They co-founded Prolink Media LLC from a small apartment and began building a creative and technology business from the ground up.

Their early decisions to reinvest, expand, hire, and continue developing the company produced visible growth. The business moved from the apartment into a townhome office and later into a professional location in Midtown Houston.

Rob eventually faced a direct conflict between business responsibility and family responsibility following the premature birth and serious illness of his son and a simultaneous medical crisis affecting his wife.

He chose to leave the partnership on good terms so he could remain present for his family without obstructing the company’s continued growth. The decision carried a substantial personal and professional cost, but it reflected a developing conviction that success cannot be evaluated only by what a person builds professionally. It must also be measured by what the person chooses to protect.

Rob later joined the organization responsible for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ as Web Administrator. His responsibilities included managing and developing its mobile applications, redesigning and overseeing its websites, and making technical, design, and project decisions across a highly visible public platform.

Across military and civilian life, his experience has included technology, interactive design, business development, entrepreneurship, client service, enterprise web administration, mobile applications, project execution, and leadership under pressure.

He is currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology while continuing to develop D3m™, its digital infrastructure, its teaching resources, and its future applications.

Rob’s life has included childhood instability, family loss, the absence and eventual loss of important father relationships, professional disruption, a catastrophic automobile accident, traumatic brain injury, permanent physical limitations, serious cardiac and neurological events, mental-health struggles, family strain, and the loss of capacities and roles that once contributed significantly to his identity.

These experiences confronted him with an important distinction:

A person may not choose what occurred, but a decision remains regarding how to respond to what occurred.

Rob’s response was not always immediate, consistent, or correct. Reconstruction required grief, adaptation, faith, humility, assistance from others, and repeated choices made within limitations that could not simply be overcome through effort.

His story is therefore not one of uninterrupted triumph. It is a story of building, losing, examining, accepting, changing, and rebuilding.

That pattern became central to D3m™. The framework does not promise that good decisions guarantee preferred outcomes. It does not deny trauma, illness, injustice, structural limitations, providence, or the consequences created by other people. It asks a more responsible question:

Given what is true and what remains within my responsibility, what decision should I make next?
